No, I don't know what it means either - but I awaoke with those words in my head this morning. Something about a dream I had, something like a school, American, I think but like Harry Potter's school. Something about trams, and something about not having money after a certain time of day or it would be taken from you...
Go Figure.
Thought I'd check Google to see if I was remembering something I had seen. But no luckily. It has that kind of mythic Brothers Grimm feeling although it was fairly modern setting.
The only other memory I have of it was passing from room to room in the school, looking for something...
Hopeless Bleak Despair
Hi,
Had a useless Tuesday. To quote "They Might Be Giants" a day of Hopeless Bleak Despair.
Some days are like that though.
Sugar readings were high - so I need to control my eating - and there really didn't seem to be any real reason for it.
A friend has just acquired a new dual core Intel based iMac - so that might be a reason for it I suppose.
BUT
I don't think it was just me. For example over in the WOW the guild leader had a hissy fit - which was well within his domain and threw a large number of guild members out of the guild as they had been conspiring to start up a new guild - and had even gone so far as to build a web page for the new guild. So it certainly wasn't just paranoia - being based in Florida means I get to come on at the late end of the day for the guild so there were only around five of us on when the culling started.
Have had the DVD of RENT in my bag for the last few days but have been too busy to actually sit and watch it.
It was one of those films that fell through the gap - it came out here in America in November but I don't think it hit Britain until earlier this month - so I didn't get to see it in the cinema. I had seen it on Broadway and it had even come to Stoke - which is ironic as I said to Damon during the interval of the New York production that this would never come to Stoke. Well it did and wasn't a bad production - staging was pretty close to the original production - cast were very different though.
It's Wednesday today and I'm feeling a lot better. Think I've managed to re-enable the comment box so it should be easy for people to add comments again.

Monday Blues
Well it's Monday afternoon here and the weekend is long gone.
Spent Sunday morning queuing at a hugely popular local place to grab breakfast. Huge breakfasts can be grabbed by all and you'd probably need at least a week of training to grab one on a regular basis. Me, I try and limit myself to one a month. More than that and I'd go bang. I'm hovering around 240 pounds as it is and that is way too heavy for mine or my doctors liking.
Breakfast consisted of a 3 egg omelette and some spuds... ooh and a side order of bacon. Coz American bacon is kind of neat. Well at least to my jaded English palette. It also comes with a small bowl of fruit. Now I don't really understand this - does anyone have any ideas WHY? Lots of coffee was consumed along with a large glass of fresh orange juice - now that is something which you can't beat here in Florida.
Spent a large chunk of the rest of the day playing on WOW with my character Johannes - which I created about a year ago and still haven't made it to level 60 - did managed to make 52 yesterday though - which is a long slow crawl if you don't get as much time to play as most of your guild. But never mind.
Today is President's Day apparently - don't know the protocol with such stuff actually - will we have to spend the day genuflecting? Must seek advice. T.V. was insisting that it is one of the busiest shopping days in the calendar - so that sounds fun.
K, well I think I am done here. Gonna spend the day doing something interesting so I can blog about it tomorrow.

Just wanted to add a comment to Phil South's Blog about Skype - and now it appears that I have a real-life blog!! Which is a little scary. OK we've done blogging on a minor scale before - on my last trip to Florida we did a short blog to give everyone an idea of what we got up to. That still exists and is hosted on our web server - but now I have a blogspot here at blogspot.com.
So this is turning into one of those rambling first post things - as I have just stumbled out of bed and this was the last thing I thought my brain would have to cope with. So I'm going to cut it short and get back when I actually have something to say.
